I am trying to obtain a copy of the "Accounting, Auditing & Governance
Standards for Islamic Financial Institutions" - English Version
As published by the AAOIFI (Accounting and Auditing Organization for
Islamic Financial Institutions) in 2008
They also publish "Shari'a Standards" in English and we are interested
in getting a copy of that as well.
I have searched through OCLC and only a few libraries have this title
listed and what they have listed is the older version.
I have wandered the Internet only to get a tantalizing glimpse of what
these documents might contain, if only I could find them in their
entirety!
I have contacted the AAOIFI but so far have received no response - they
are situated in Bahrain.
If anyone has any ideas where else I can look, or if you have done
business with this group and can give me some pointers on the best way
to contact them, I would be in your debt!
