It could depend on what type of information you're looking for.
I did a presentation for SLA this past June Elusive U.S. Private Company
Information: Sources and Search Secrets Revealed. There are 200 slides. I'd
like to see what others say because I know there could be more and because
things change rapidly in an online world.
FWIW, below is an outline of what's included. If you could specify what
type of info they're looking for, perhaps I can see if I could help with
suggested sources. I'm also planning an online workshop starting in October
through Simmons GSLIS CE about company research that includes both public
and private company information.

Subject: [LAW-LIB:56683] What's your favorite source for info on non-public
companies?
I think we've got most of the available information but my attorneys are not
convinced. SO, what do you use for companies that are not required to make
their information public?
