Are there any "legislative history"/"comments" to Wage Orders issued by
the Department of Labor Standards in California?

I am asking for an attorney who says: "I do not think Wage Orders have
"legislative history" per se, but there may be some commentary regarding
prior versions of a particular Order before it was issued, something
that might have been generated during a "review and comment" period,
like the EEOC does with its regulations. I looked at some of the Wage
Orders I've pulled in the past, and I didn't see any "history" like docs
    that I pulled with it."

And he graciously ends with: I thought our very resourceful librarians
might know better than I do.

So this resourceful librarian turns to the community and asks.

    Thanks for your help,
