    Dear colleagues:

I would like to state my distaste for anonymous postings on law-lib. I
agree with Ron Huttner that we should not have anonymous postings and
flames to the list using a fake email address. This is a professional
list, and fake IDs such as "Leslie Germaine" have no place here.

In some circumstances it is necessary to post anonymous messages, such
as when asking for advice on a personnel matter. However, the proper way
to do this is to ask the list owner to post the message for you. I have
done this several times in the past as a list owner.

BTW, my message on Sunday other day only had 20 out of office responses.
I think this is the lowest number I've ever gotten. Let's see how many
    this message will generate.

    Bryan
