Censorship, Censorship! The sky is falling, the sky is falling!
The predictable hysterics of Leftist librarians aside, well, there was
nothing "censored" here at all.
It seems pretty clear that this particular little attempt to go after
Palin has absolutely nothing behind it. All one has to do is read the
Anchorage Daily News piece on it to see:
1) The librarian and Palin were both political operatives on different
sides of the fence. Palin was coming off a stiff fight with her
political opponent, an opponent who the librarian backed.
2) Palin wanted to get rid of the librarian (no surprise there), as
she did with other holdovers from the former administration (no
surprise there either, as that is what happens when administrations
change)
3) The chairwoman of the Alaska Library Association says nothing
showed up on her radar.
4) And finally, Anne Kilkenny wants to be famous.
Move along, nothing to see here, except the extent to which liberals
desperately fear and resent a strong independent woman. But that's not
exactly news either...
