Good afternoon wise Librarians,
I have been asked to find out how Canada "defines" or "interprets" the
phrase "health and safety of the public" as it pertains to the
Hazardous Product Act. We are aware of the pending Health Protection
Act - but we're not worried about what it will be in the future yet.
I'm used to doing this here in the US - caselaw, Words & Phrases,
legislative history - can all be searched - but I'm not having much
luck with my Canadian research. I realize this may be less a function
of resources and more a function of different legal systems, so I am
appealing to you in the hopes that someone can either a) point me in
the right direction or b) tell me that it doesn't exist and I'm
wasting my time.
Thank you!
