A number of our faculty have asked if there is a way to get text out of Making
of Modern Law. They'd like to be able to copy passages of text and paste
them as quotations into their scholarship.

I've gone back and forth with
the Gale reps on this and they tell me it can't be done. You can get an image
of the text, but not the actual text.

    I'm really surprised that Gale
doesn't offer this option. The scanned text is there, but they feel that
it's not clean enough to let people see.

It seems obvious that users would
want to be able quote from the documents on MoML without having to retype
the text. Hein Online allows you to toggle between image and text, why can't
    Gale?

Have others faced this same dilemma? Is there a good work around
    to this problem?

If others object to this limitation, I encourage you
to contact your Gale reps and let them know. I was told that they were considering
adding this capability in a future release but was made no promises.
