In January 2008 the National Defense Authorization Act was passed. One
thing it did was expand the coverage of the FMLA. One area of expansion was a 12
week time off for "exigent circumstances". The Dept. of Labor was ordered to
define what an exigent circumstance would be. As late as early June this had
not been done. Does anyone know if the DOL defined "exigent circumstances"?
Thanks.
