LLB's unintentional weekly series of Friday Fun posts featuring librarians
laying down the law continues today at

We've added a second video clip to this week's post. This one is on
relationships and demonstrates that discussing classification systems in the
library can lead to break-ups.
Two LLB polls will close soon but you still have time to participate. The
responses so far are a little surprising.
Are you satisfied with management's recent decisions regarding your library?

Only 27% have responded in the affirmative.
Do senior librarians who are eligible for retirement have a moral obligation
to retire during weak job markets?

The most popular "no" response is "life doesn't owe young librarians a
career." Not surprising, almost everyone who responded "yes" wants to cut
the deadwood from their staff. Watch out senior librarian slackers.
