Please join us this Friday afternoon from 2 - 4 PM, Central Time, for
a new segment of The Law Librarian, a call-in internet radio talk show
on BlogTalkRadio with special guest, Margi Maes, Executive Director,
LIPA (Legal Information Preservation Alliance). Margi will talk with
us about her vision for LIPA and it's plans for making the digital
    world safe for digital information.

In the second hour, Jim Milles, Director and Professor at SUNY Buffalo
School of Law will join us for what we hope will become a regular
segment of the program, a discussion the gadgets, gizmos and gollies
of digital technology and their possible application, both present and
plausible in law libraries. He will also be available to take phone-
    in or chat questions.

Please follow either link below to "tune in" to the show.

============== Please follow these guidelines for enjoying the show. I encourage you to visit the site and before hand and register so you can join the chat room that accompanies the show. We can take an unlimited number of callers and chatters.

    1. Listen to the show either on you computer's speakers or use headphones in the audio jack of your computer. This is the preferred method, from the hosts' point of view.

    2. You can also listen in on your phone, by calling in on the call-in line. This is not the preferred method. The show's call-in number is, 347-945-7183. When you call in, you can stay on the line and listen to the whole show. However, when you listen in this way, I will think that you are a caller and pick up your line to see if you have a question. If you choose to listen in this way, please send me an email with your phone number, or register to chat with us during the show and tell us that you are just listening in. I need your phone number to distinguish between listeners and callers with questions. If I do pick up your line and ask if you have a question, but you are just listening, please just say, "Just Listening" quickly, so I can move on to the next caller.

    3. If you have any questions ahead of time that you want us to address with Ken, please send me an email.

    4. If you have ideas for future show topics or guests, please let me know.
