Maybe renting library use for commercial purposes is the answer to
    budget issues.

    All:

Thanks to all who responded with leads, I have the definitive answer
which has been verified by the Library at Occidental College in Los
Angeles. The filming took place in their index area. The filming was
    took place this past June.

As an FYI, a number of people suggested the library at New Trier High
School in suburban Chicago as having been the site used. It appears most
likely, that library was used in the current J.C. Penny back to school
    commercial.

Again, thanks to all who responded with their suggestions and ideas.

    All:

Earlier this week, I was watching a back-to-school commercial for Ross
Stores. The library used throughout the commercial certainly looks like
a law library. Does anyone happen to know which law library?
