Ron (and everyone else):
I don't mind seeing the names of the winners.
Yes, it is promoting the products - that's the point of the exhibit hall,
drawings and giveaways.
It is a reminder for those of us who attended the conference.
It is also letting everyone else who did not attend what is available and
what is new.
80-95% of leads at a trade show are never followed up.
This is a way for the exhibitors to follow-up with the attendees and other
members of AALL.
The more follow-up they do, the better results they will have and the
greater return on their investment in the show.
This means that they will keep coming back and supporting the organization!
I welcome their participation in AALL and the discussion lists.
I will be doing my own follow-up to reconnect with the companies that
exhibited and the people I met.
