I had no idea I had so much clout...okay, I had nothing to do with it,
I've just got good timing.
Had an immediate respose to my original e-mail from ace Lexis Librarian
Relations Team Leader Michael "The Saint" (as played on tv by Roger
Moore) Onge. He quickly contacted the powers that be and sent me the
following within the hour:
Bob,
As I suspected, this was an oversight on our part.
The changes to some of our billing documents were released to production
at the end of May. (We added the information about the Print and CD
Service Center and the ability to pay by credit card) Immediately after
the release, the fact that the Customer Service Number was missing was
noticed and was fixed; however, it does not go live until our next
release which is scheduled for July 24.
We have now alerted our Customer Service personnel about the situation,
so they'll be able to answer questions accordingly.
All future invoices, printed after July 24th, will once again have the
Customer Service number on it.

So it was all just a glitch that is being remedied. Next session, I'll
ask the doctor to increase my dosage of powdered dried frog pills that
are supposed to curb my paranoid delusions and cut back on my rants.
