         Colleagues --

New day, new headache. One of our summer associates has
received a research assignment regarding the regulation of medical
devices and pharmaceuticals in India and Malaysia. Specifically, 1)
what body regulates these things in both countries; 2) who pays for the
testing; 3) what body deals with licensing for distribution; and (but
less importantly) 4) what do the license terms generally look like. We
are researching online and I'm hopeful of finding a useful journal
article. If anyone can recommend any resources that they have used,
    I'd be appreciative. Thanks.
