    Hi-
Having checked Westlaw and Lexis and not finding the answer to my question, I am asking for help.
In the current version of 735 ILCS 5/2-1402 in section b just before the outline of citation notice is a sentence that reads "The Citation Notice need not be mailed to a corporation, partnership or association."
In PA 88-48 sec 5 effective July 6, 1993- that statement is not there.
In IL Legis 88-670 (1994) that statement is not there.
In IL Legis 89-364 (Public Act 89-364, 1995) that statement is present.  But there does not appear to be markings to indicate it is new language.
Can anyone tell me when this statement was added and why?  Any legislative  history or the like to indicate the purpose of this statement.
Thanks for any and all help.  I really appreciate it.Cathryn O'Neill
