We are searching for Office of Special Counsel opinion letters dated
April 20, 1993, and August 6, 1998, regarding what questions about
applicant's immigration status are permitted in pre-employment
interviews. These opinion letters are cited in the 2006-07 Immigration &
Nationality Law Handbook, p. 518, published by AILA. We have tried
Lexis, Westlaw, AILALink, Federal Register, and the Web. We have also
called the Office of Special Counsel and AILA. Any help would be very
much appreciated!
