This month, a Westlaw trainer (someone completely unknown to me) began
contracting individuals within the firm, making appointments for
one-on-one training. I asked him to call me and he told me this was a
new service of West, designed to take the pressure off account managers.
I politely told him NOT to contact anyone but me as regards training
schedules. We have a limited Westlaw subscription, and have been in the
habit of providing training in-house. His return email expressed the
hope that this would not affect my future relationship with West, but
EVERYTHING affects my relationship with them!
