We are a law firm library that has attorneys who prefer the hardcopy
version of BNA's Tax Management portfolios. Some of the portfolios, in
print form, are so thick that pages pop out as you turn pages. (US
Income 506-2, 531-2, Foreign Income 897,912,966-3rd,& 999-2d)
Historically, BNA used to divide portfolios when they grew too large for
a single portfolio. BNA has offered to ship us a new portfolio each
time there are any updates since they agree the portfolios are too thick
to file. (I can hear the customer service rep now telling me I've
already received x number of replacement portfolios this year so they
are going to charge me for the one we lost) They have also offered to
sell us a license to the electronic format. (many times--our attorneys
like the paper, thank you)
Has anyone come up with an innovative way to keep this set filed?
Failing that, or possibly in addition, if enough of us see this as a
problem and complain to BNA; BNA might become aware they are still
selling subscriptions to hardcopy format and should be maintaining it.
Thanks for listening and in advance for any suggestions or support
