It's a new week, and a new LawLibTech poll. This time, I'm trying to find
out how common the use of web conferencing tools are in law firm libraries.
Please visit LawLibTech.com <http://www.lawlibtech.com/> and answer one
    quick question!

By the way, even if you didn't partipate in last week's poll, :-( you can
see view the results. Just click on the link for "View Results" at the
bottom of the poll box. (http://www.lawlibtech.com/archives/000652.html)
It appears that the use of Instant Messaging-type applications for reference
is relatively rare. Though some firms have rolled out IM applications for
the enterprise, one reader pointed out that IM is blocked by the technology
department at his firm. And as another reader mentioned, even if you keep
IM open and available for reference requests, that doesn't mean your
attorneys and staff will actually use it!
