-----Original Message----- From: owner-law-lib@ucdavis.edu [mailto:owner-law-lib@ucdavis.edu] On Behalf Of Kaskey, Sid Sent: Monday, March 24, 2008 12:44 PM To: law-lib@ucdavis.edu Subject: [LAW-LIB:55100] Finding out if someone is in the military.
I am a bit surprised how difficult getting a specific answer to this question is. I am seeking to find out if someone is in the military.
I contacted a service that was referenced to in the Zimmerman research site and they might be able to help, but the attorney I am working with asked me to find out if there is another way.
The military librarians I have contacted simply passed me on without a definitive answer whether this information is available to the public and if so where.
I found one person on lawlib made the same query a few years back; I am awaiting a reply from the him.
My gut tells me more than one must have had this question before.does anyone know if there is a reasonable easy and inexpensive way to find out if someone is in the military?
Thanks,
