I am trying to find a quote that may be from Grover
Cleveland around the time of the signing of the
Interstate Commerce Act (signed 2/4/1887). It's
supposed to be something like - "Now a farmer can
bring his complaint to Washington and return home
confident that it will be handled impartially."
I need the exact quote and a source. I've searched
Presidential Papers through Hein, federal case law,
law reviews, and the Transportation Law Journal.
Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
