We invite you to attend Cost Recovery : Experience from the Trenches in
Large, Medium and Small law firms on Wednesday March 12, 2008 at Noon
(EST) hosted by PLL-SIS (Private Law Libraries Special Interest Section)
of the American Association of Law Libraries.

Description: Cost recovery of online research expense is expected to
occur in most firms, but not always understood by the librarians or
administrators who seek to recover those costs. This session conducted
as a panel of three speakers will cover how firms of different sizes
manage a cost recovery program as described in the first session of the
webinar. The speakers will also participate in an interactive
question/answer session with a moderator where they discuss questions
like but not limited to the following:

    * What specific problem have you had to solve and how did you
    address it?

    * How would you suggest members of the audience develop better
communication with firms leaders around issues that arise?

    * What advice would you give a new director as they develop
    their firm's program?

Learning Outcomes: Participants will be prepared to discuss three cost
recovery topics as it applies to their firm's size. Participants will
be qualified to apply lessons learned by experienced librarians
    regarding cost recovery.

Speakers: Mary Kay Jung, Thompson Colburn LLP
Monice Kaczorowski, Neal Gerber & Eisenberg LLP
Steve Lastres, Debevoise & Plimpton LLP
