    Hi All,

I have a request for the text of Intermediary Letter 372--dealing with Medicaid. I have searched Lexis and the FirstGov and I found a number of references to it from later documents but not the text of the letter itself. The information I located indicates it was issued in 1969...

"In April 1969, those problems led to the issuance of Intermediary Letter 372, which set forth specific conditions that physicians in teaching settings were required to meet to be considered attending physicians and, thus, qualify to charge the carrier for services in which they involved residents. It also specified how carriers were required to determine the reasonable charges for these services."

I also have a call in to my husband--the medical librarian who works in a teaching hospital and he is looking-- but I need to cover as many bases as I can.

Does anyone know where I can find the text of this letter?

    Thank you in advance.
