Even with Accurint's price increases, the service is still far cheaper
than Choicepoint's Autotrack. That said, I agree that prices are only
going to go up. But a consolidation will save us the trouble and cost
of searching two different databases, which we frequently do for
comprehensive coverage.

Choicepoint
I know many people migrated from Accurint to Choicepoint because
of Accurint's outrageous price increases... expect the same outrageous
increases from Choicepoint... Monoploy is not just a board game...

Subject: [LAW-LIB:54784] Reed Elsevier to Acquire Choicepoint
From a LexisNexis news release (2/21/08)
I am pleased to let you know that earlier today our parent
company, Reed Elsevier Group plc, announced its intention to acquire
ChoicePoint Inc., a leading provider of identification and credential
verification services to individuals, businesses, and governments.
ChoicePoint will be combined with our Risk & Information Analytics
Group, the unit that currently serves your business needs. (Additional
text omitted).
LN already owns Accurint...does this mean that Accurint and
AutoTrack will merge someday..?
