    Bass, Berry and Sims is an innovative, dynamic law firm with a practice
    spanning the full spectrum of today's business environment. We have over
    200 attorneys in 3 offices, all within the state of Tennessee. We
    currently seek a Research Librarian for our Nashville office.

    The Research Librarian provides ready reference and in-depth research
    services to all practice areas of the firm. This includes daily library
    updating, maintenance, accounting and cataloging, as well as management
    of records databases. The Research Librarian will develop research
    training and intranet content for Research Services, and actively market
    library services within the firm.

     

    Ideal candidate will have three to five years of library experience,
    preferably in a legal, corporate or business library. Candidate must
    have a Masters degree in Library Science, Information Science or
    equivalent, from an accredited ALA program. Advanced knowledge of
    relevant resources (MS Office, Lexis, Westlaw, Livedgar) is needed.
    Web design and content management desired. Candidate must also possess
    strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills, be detail-oriented,
    able to multi-task, interact with various personalities, and be a team
    player.
