Thanks for the generous replies from Eva-Marie Nye, Jennifer Berman, Mary Lou Wilker, Druet Cameron Klugh, Lynn Mikulsky, Sue Schaefgen, Linda Gray, Ray Jassin, and Christine Graesser.

The good news is that there was only one source other than the ones we had already located. The bad news is that the best book appears to be Promotion Marketing Law from the Promotion Marketing Association. You must join the Association to purchase it, and membership costs $3500.

Other sources containing information on the topic include:

CCH Advertising Law Guide - $1522 for print

The Law of Advertising, James B. Astrachan; George Eric Rosden and Peter E. Rosden - Matthew Bender - $1725

Am Jur 2d, sweepstakes are discussed in under gambling. 38 Am Jur 2d Gambling § 67 - very short entry

Gaming Law Review ($1482 in print) and Internet Gaming Law ($259), Mary Ann Liebert, publisher.

    West's Fifty-State Survey on Gambling

Sweepstakes, Contests and Other Promotions - a chapter from PLI's Advertising Law in the New Media Age - this is an older publication, but has much useful information.

    Thanks for all the help!
