Letter from John S.R. Shad, Chairman SEC to Representative Timothy
Wirth, Chairman House Subcommittee on Telecommunications, Consumer
Protection and Finance, March 12, 1985
Subject: exemption of municipal securities
I would also like to find the response letter from Rep. Timothy Wirth,
but do not have a specific reference for that.
I have tried several sources in Washington, and have received
suggestions for NARA or FOIA at SEC and collection of Wirth's papers at
Univ. of Colorado Boulder.
