    Folks,

I wanted to pass along a warning about a new phishing scheme that some of you in libraryland may receive.

Yesterday one of our librarians received an email asking her to participate in a survey from the AAUP. It asked her to click a link from SurveyMonkey. Luckily she realized before clicking that the email address looked funny.

While the text for the link said it was SurveyMonkey, we discovered upon looking closer that the actual link went elsewhere. It was a very cleaver scheme, since we receive so many legitimate surveys.
