Dunia Zongwe is a fellow of the Institute for African Development at Cornell University. He holds a law degree from the University of Namibia (2006). He currently studies towards his LLM at Cornell Law School (2008) where he is writing a thesis on human rights and the exploitation of mineral resources in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Francois Butedi is a Congolese legal advisor and human rights activist with considerable experience in the courts of the DRC. The non-governmental organization (NGO) for which he works advised the government on several pieces of legislation and was actively involved in training and monitoring during the historic 2006 presidential and legislative elections in the DRC. He holds a law degree from the University of Kinshasa (2002) and is now reading for his LLM in Human Rights and Constitutional Practice at the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
Clement Phebe was assistant lecturer at the University of Kinshasa where he obtained a law degree. He also has an LLM in Human Rights and Democratization in Africa from the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria and is currently a PhD candidate at the Oliver Schreiner School of Law at the University of The Witwatersrand.

Francisco A. Avalos joined the James E. Rogers College of Law in 1982 as the Foreign and International Law Librarian. His area of expertise is Latin American legal research with an emphasis on Mexico. He has written extensively and made many presentations in this area of the law. Mr. Avalos has served as Secretary-Treasurer and Chairperson of the Foreign, Comparative, and International Law SIS of the American Association of Law Libraries, and served on the Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals Advisory Committee. His current research interests include legal translating and the pre-Columbian legal systems of the Americas. He currently teaches First Year Legal Research and U.S. Legal Research for Foreign Students. Mr. Avalos also serves as a special consultant to the National Law Center for Free Inter-American Trade.
Maureen Garmon is Faculty Services Librarian at the Law Library, Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. She has participated in first year and intermediate legal research instruction at the College and is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries. Before joining the Law Library in 1997, Ms.Garmon worked as a law firm librarian. She holds an MLS from the University of Arizona.

Formerly of the Cornell Law Library, Charlotte Bynum is an assistant director and reference librarian focusing on foreign and international law at the Tulane Law Library. Charlotte has a J.D. from Tulane Law School, and a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Michigan.

Stéphane Cottin is the chief registrar of the Constitutional Council of France. Formerly, he was the creator of the documentation office, then of the website of the institution. He teaches legal research to both students in the Institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po) and professionals with the Association of French Documentation Specialists (ADBS). He received an LL.M from Lille II University, a master's degree in Public Law, and a master in Library Science from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Paris (Sciences Po Paris). He has published several articles in French and in English in law reviews, and several books, including a guide, in French, 'Petit guide d'accès à l'information juridique française.
Jérôme Rabenou has been the the internet master of the French Constitutional Council for ten years. He now works for the Prime Minister Information Systems Security department. He created the first French legal newsgroup (news:fr.misc.droit), website, and mailing-list. He received an LL.M in business law from the University Paris-XIII.
