Hello law-libbers,
The format for case citation in United States Supreme Court opinions seems to have changed in the past term. "F.2d" is now "F. 2d" and "6th Cir." is now CA6. There may be other changes I haven't noticed. I tried searching the Supreme Court Rules to see if citation format is governed there and could not find anything. I also looked at the FRAP and at the Supreme Court practice manual (which says that the court uses Bluebook format in its opinions -- but the manual itself is out of date).
If anyone can shed any light on this new format, I (and the law review editors here) would appreciate it very much.
