Greetings,

A professor thinks that there is a law in Denmark requiring lawyers to be appointed to represent a proposed target of a wiretap without the target's knowledge of the appointment or the proposed wiretap.

I have extensively searched law review articles, social science articles, news, and the Internet for a reference to such a law and have looked through the English translations of Danish laws in on the following sites:

http://www.loc.gov/law/guide/denmark.html

http://www.worldlii.org/catalog/2060.html

http://juraportal.dk/links/010/010/040/?lang=en

I would greatly appreciate any new ideas. Also, if you can just think of another example where people are secretly appointed lawyers without their knowledge, that would be very helpful too! Thanks!
