Hootworthy: "In the Library" Perfume: I don't think so

I get law-lib in digest format so forgive me if someone already alerted
you to this:

The Library Link of the Day (8/9/07) takes us to the "In the library"
perfume: leather bindings, wood polish, and warn cloth?

They've obviously not been in the libraries many of us work in, with the
heady aroma of musty professors, pungent exam-stressed law students,
baby-diaper scented parents, toxic copiers and printers, the great
unwashed, crumbling books, fetid trash cans (old coffee, rancid chips,
dog poo, and those ever present diapers), faulty air conditioning
systems, gas exhaust from the mysterious, ever-present summertime
leaf-blower outside the window ...

Oh the heady scent of a library ... cough, cough, ackkkk, ackkk ...

Laura

P.S. Not MY library of course, which is an olfactory delight!
