Follow up to "minor changes"

Last week I posted my concern about the "minor changes" phrase used in
some looseleaf instructions. Many folks emailed me, surprised that
this had occurred and asked for a follow up. I remained un-enlightened
until today.

Aaron, from West, called me to say that "minor" meant grammatical
errors and typos. The sorts of things that would drive up the cost of
updating should they issue the new pages, solely because of a
misplaced comma. I was assured that eventually those changes would
appear in print, once that chapter underwent more substantive
alteration. But, they will be re-examining the phraseology, perhaps
minor change was not the appropriate word choice ;-)

Not a crisis in the law library world, and so the story goes...

Have a great week everyone!
Monica
