Forgive me for tying up the list, but yesterday I came across
something that caught my eye. I was asked to look at some filing
instructions and noticed that while a majority of the set was being
replaced "Minor changes will appear only on Westlaw."
This struck me as a little odd, what is considered "minor"? Is there a
flag on the page saying, go to Westlaw? Since we know patrons
routinely look at the filing instructions, yeah right, was this really
going to be effective as an alert to the user of the book? hmmmm....
Since I'm not in the habit of reading filing instructions ;-), I had
not seen this before. Is this something new? Have I been oblivious all
these years? or, as is more likely, did I forget?
Can someone enlighten me?
Thanks!
Monica
P.S. The instructions were for "Alternative Dispute Resolution
Practice Guide."
