Project COUNTER and electronic continuations

Please pardon previous cross-postings.

The Project CounterTask Group of the TS-SIS Serials Committee is working
on ways to encourage the use of Project Counter (Counting Online Usage
of NeTworked Electronic Resources) in the collection of usage statistics
for electronic continuations. (For those of you who do not know what
Project Counter is, please visit http://www.projectcounter.org.)

As part of our research, we would like to know which libraries are using
Counter-compliant data. Could you please email me off-list regarding
the following questions?

1) Is your library is Counter-compliant?

2) Are you making use of Counter to compile statistics?

3) Do you consider Counter compliance when determining which vendors to use?

4) In what other usage does Counter play a part?

5) If your library is not using Project Counter in collection of usage
statistics, are you using any other usage statistics tool at all? If
yes, what is it?

Thanks,
Carol
