Thank you to all. It seems that WestLaw limits student access to 2 hours a month unless they activate their password for Summer use. It also seems like they've been doing it for awhile.
Why the problem never reached me before is probably due to the reduced staff size where I am now as opposed to other places I've worked.
Sorry to bother you all.
Now, on to deleting out-of-office auto responder messages! ;-)

As nightfall does not come all at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be aware of change in the air however slight, lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness.

Subject: Academic Law Libraries: Running out of hours for the month on WestLaw
We are getting a spate of calls about law students getting a message saying that they have run out of hours for WestLaw for the month.
I've never heard of this before.
Are other Academic Law Libraries running into this as well? Is it a new "feature" in WestLaw for Academic Accounts?
