I would be grateful if any Law-Libber from New York State could
assist. I have already emailed Columbia University, but have yet to
receive any reply. I am doing research on some issues relating to a
doctor named Yoshiaki Omura, who specializes in Japanese Medicine and
who practises a rather unorthodox form of Japanese Acupuncture,
involving a diagnostic test invented by himself known as the "Bi-
Digital 'O' Ring Test". Dr. Omura apparently conducts regular
seminars, as well an annual "Symposium, "at" Columbia University,
(see, e.g. http://www.icaet.org/symposium.html), but what I am
particularly keen to acertain are answers to the following questions:-
1. Is he currently a member of any Faculty at Columbia ? (He does not
appear anywhere on Columbia University's website).
2. If so, what precise position does he hold there ?
3. Are his seminars and/or Symposia part of an accredited degree,
diploma or other course offered by Columbia University ?
4. If no, to question 3, precisely what is his relationship to/
affiliation with Columbia University ?
Many thanks in anticipation of any assistance.
