Dear Colleagues,
A colleague from South Africa is asking about admission policies of
academic law libraries, including the following questions:
1. Do you permit legal practitioners (attorneys/counsel) to use your library?
2. If so, do you charge them?
3. Are charges in the form of 'day fees' or do they have to subscribe?
4. General comments on this issue or general observation of 'usual
practice' in the USA.
I would appreciate it very much if you could let me know whether
someone has collected information and data on this issue. Please
respond to me directly (I only get the digest version of law-lib).
Many thanks,
--Claire
