Colleagues,
I write to let you know that the Duke Law Library will be closing down for renovations and temporarily relocating to smaller quarters beginning May 7, 2007. We will reopen the newly renovated facilities in August 2008. During the renovation period, we will have most of our collection in storage and will not be able to use or lend that material to other institutions. Because our print resources will be minimal, we also ask that you get the word out to practitioners and others needing to do legal research and recommend they utilizing other area law libraries during that time.
We will operate a small library directly across the street from the law school during the renovation period. We are fortunate to have access to such convenient space to continue our operations during this very exciting renovation. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.
Have a great summer.
