Dear All-
Our University is embarking on a capital campaign that would ultimately provide some funding for our law library acquisitions. We (the librarians) have been asked to come up with some information to help those working on the fund-raising efforts. Specifically, we've been asked to provide something with "sizzle" they can show potential donors to peak their interest--perhaps something featuring some of the focus points of our collection. For us, these areas correspond to the certificate programs offered by our law school: health, comparative & international, public policy, energy & environmental, etc. Have any of you ever created anything designed to help specifically with fund-raising for your acquisitions? If so, we'd love to see what you've done. Please reply off-list and I'll summarize and compile what I receive.
Thanks!
