Happy Friday? (It has been quite a week on the reference desk for me.)
I am trying, without much luck, to locate Section 33.14(h) of the
Special Agent Field Manual (formerly Operation Instruction section
287.3a) dealing with Immigration and Custom Enforcement's (ICE)
authority to raid a workplace in search of undocumented employees. I
have been able to determine that this agency is part of Homeland
Security and not the INS but that is about it. I have not been able to
locate this particular manual on their website. It is not part of the
Code or Regs that I can find. I left a message with Homeland Security
but, as yet, have not received a response. I am stuck.
If you have this illusive Manual would you be willing to fax or .pdf to
me the section referenced above?
