I have been asked to find which countries exempt their insurance
industry from antitrust laws. The McCarran-Ferguson Act provides those
exemptions here in the U.S., and my attorney would like to see a list or
chart or other comparative measure of what other nations do. I have
checked the contents of many international antitrust sources and have
run searches in LEXIS, but so far I have not come up with what we need.
If anyone knows of such a chart or survey, or could even give me some
pointers on researching this, I would be most grateful.
Thanks.
