I’m not sure what type of information you are looking for, but the
University of North Texas Libraries has a very good CyberCemetary for
“permanent public access to the Web sites and publications of defunct
U.S. government agencies and commissions.” You can check it out at
http://govinfo.library.unt.edu/ . As for other archived info, I usually
use the Wayback Machine and haven’t found any other source for good
archives.
