The Maryland State Law Library finds itself in possession of a Mystery
Book with Missing Pages.
If anyone reading this posting recognizes our Mystery Book, we would
greatly appreciate your contacting us.
We would like to get the book properly identified and to acquire the
missing pages.
The missing pages comprise everything from the Title page(s) through page
6.
We have it bound in brown with a red upper area containing gold letters
which read : "Journal of Continental Congress" and also a lower black area
with gold letters & numbers reading: " VOL. 1 1774-75"
Our acquisitions stamp is dated Sep 16 1943 but the paper is quite brittle
so I am making an educated guess that the book is somewhat older than
that.
The MSLL on-line catalog record for the series, accurate or not, may be
found at url:
I have attached a .pdf file of some of the pages to assist in
identification.
If you recognize it, please contact me directly.
Thanks.
