Books/box estimate?

I need to ship 930' of books from a branch and have to order boxes in
advance.
Does anyone know if there's a rule of thumb on how many books will fit in a
1.5 cu.ft. box? There are some long runs of reporters, ALR, AmJur, but of
course other randomly sized books.
