Following up on Miriam's message, please consider leading a group to dinner
on Saturday, July 14 before the opening event.
If you have memories of dining in New Orleans and would like to share the
experience with others, this is for you. You can be a New Orleanian and live
anywhere!
Group leaders choose a restaurant and make reservations. It's dutch treat
for participants, including the tip. Restaurants can be in walking distance
or transportation could be arranged - think shared cabs. The group can be 4
- 10 people, including the host.
Restaurants could be anything from Parasol's for a po-boy and Abita beer or
a Barqs, to comfort food at EAT, to uptown upscale dining. I'd love to see a
variety of opportunities available for visitors. There's such a variety,
it's hard to choose!
If you're interested, please let me know by April 6, 2007. I have the
post-Katrina Zagat's with lots of restaurant information.
