Welcome to Law Librarianship, Randy!
As a former NYC law librarian & attorney in NYC, I must interject that you are not the first, nor will you be the last, to make a similar comment on Law Lib posts.
I agree with Ms. Mahnk & Ms. Valentine. Censorship is not something we readily engage in here in Law-Lib-Land, and opinions do not prevent me from helping with member requests.
Moreover, we Law Libbers firmly enjoy our crisp, intelligent, opinionated, and scholarly comments and requests, with all the incident twists and tangents (and occasional bouts of giddiness) that are related to open discussion among adults. These discussions often bring insight and spark ideas and discussions that one cannot have elsewhere, and I always appreciate them.
Mr. Huttner's comments are also well-enjoyed and looked for by many of us who love this list, and I hope you can open your mind to embrace this list more in the future....and share your thoughtful comments, too.
P.S. - wait until you see the brain-busting and funny "Friday" comments and various Monday-morning meltdowns...they make my day, every time!
Yours in Law-Lib-Land---
