I have a request that is a bit related to the prior posting looking for educational advice on specialty legal research classes. I am new to the area of labor research and would be interested in locating any specialty courses or products (videos, cds, online classes, books, even flowcharts) specific to labor and union research. Research in the areas of unions or labor climates is challenging due to our assessment that the data we search for is spread out among numerous sources, not out there at all, or found in such a format that we have to spend time manipulating data so the attorneys can understand what we are presenting them.
We're in the process of creating checklists of steps common to most of our assignemts. But I was wondering if anyone in the listserv could suggest any products which might capture this very specific area of research.
