technical support--legal research subscriptions

As a new Library Assistant at the Fairfax Co. (VA) Public Law Library, I'm
learning about how to allow patrons access to such research services as
LoisLaw, WestLaw, and Lexis on our public workstations. I'd like to set up
an internet shortcut on the desktop which goes directly into these sites
without a username/login ID or password. Before I end up banging my head
against a wall in a futile effort to do this, can anyone tell me if my idea
can actually be accomplished?

Randy
