IT'S NOT YOUR MOTHER'S TEACH-IN KIT! ANNOUNCING THE FIRST ONLINE
TEACH-IN KIT AND CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS
After years of print Teach-In Kits, the RIPS-SIS is making the change.
RIPS is pleased to announce the 2007 Teach-In Kit is going electronic.
This transition will be handled carefully and with long-term access to
information in mind. So don't worry about the information going away.
The Teach-In Kit is here to stay.
The RIPS sponsored National Legal Research Teach-In campaign has
provided the popular Teach-In Resource Kit for many years as a print
publication designed to support the instructional activities of law
librarians. It is published annually in conjunction with National
Library Week each April. The transition to an online format will allow
RIPS to bring you the same quality Kit in a more functional and timely
manner in advance of National Library week.
But, to achieve this new online format, we still need your Kit
contributions. These contributions are currently being accepted. You
can
send them as email attachments to any of the people listed below. Any
document format that can be attached to email is acceptable.
We will accept most any instructional materials that you care to
offer:
* course syllabi
* research guides
* lecture notes
* handouts
* assignments
* lesson plans
* PowerPoint shows
* basic instructional guides
* examinations and guided quizzes
* crossword puzzles and trivia quizzes
We welcome your ideas and suggestions and encourage you to contact us to
discuss your contributions.
Send Teach-In Kit submissions to either:
